We have compiled a list of why we think we might be the right office for you. Here's a brief list of why our patients like us and keep returning for their dental care:
Wait time
If you look at our gallery, you'll notice our waiting room is actually pretty small. That's how we like it. Our average wait time is 5 minutes. Sure we have a TV, video games, and magazines there, but that's mostly for the parents or friends who choose to wait there while their child/friend/parent/spouse is receiving dental treatment
Parents allowed in the back
Ever taken your child in for dental treatment and were told to wait in the front? Not here. Dr. Sager prefers to have parents accompany their child to their dental visit, including when we provide dental treatment. This not only puts the patient at ease, it helps put the parents at ease too.
No Papoose
A papoose is often used in dental clinics to restrain children during dental treatment. Though it does have its uses for heavier oral sedation, Dr. Sager is not a believer that any routine dental treatment requires forceful restraint of a patient. If your child needs numerous fillings and restorations but isn't likely to cooperate in a dental setting, we refer to specialist dentists who can treat your patient while they are either asleep or under sedation. The benefit of this is that the child can have their care completed in usually one visit and, more importantly, not be traumatized by a bad dental experience.
No Shot Fillings
As part of Dr. Sager's lifelong pursuit of dental education, he stays with all the latest treatments that can best benefit his patients. For children and other patients who may have dental anxiety concerning needles and drilling, we can actually restore some cavities without ever picking up a handpiece. Not all cavities can be treated this way, but we're happy to take a look and give our opinion. When making an appointment, be sure to tell our front office that you're interested in SDF and SMART fillings.
Dentist/Patient Time
At Sager Dental, one thing our patients consistently mention is how much time Dr. Sager spends with them during the visit. This helps the patient build a better trust with Dr. Sager, ask any questions that may arise, and better understand their treatment plan
No Surprises
One of the more frustrating things about dental insurances and doctor visits in general is when you get a bill a few weeks later saying you still owe money. At Sager Dental, there are no hidden costs or surprises. Edward Lopez and our front office will make sure you understand what your insurance covers , and what your out of pocket expense would be (if any!). Nearly all dental plans cover your first visit, so come get started!
Same Day Appointments
For some patients seeking dental care, the wait to be seen at an office can be days to weeks. At Sager Dental, we can generally offer an appointment the same day for emergency needs. Give us a call (409) 200-2539 and we'll get you scheduled!
